The Novabeam is a weapon available in 2030. It is a shoulder mounted weapon that fires a beam of concentrated energy in small bursts for large amounts of damage.
The Novabeam consumes 22 ammo per shot, and the small burst will be shortened if the ammo reserve is less than 22.
The Novabeam laser will leave a distinct, large bright red trail on surfaces on where the beam hit.
Trivia
- The Novabeam seems to be somewhat based off a laser weapon from a movie named Akira, as both are shoulder mounted, shoot lasers, and both lasers are similar coloured to each over.
- Actually the Novabeam's first person model has a idle animation but it is never played, making the animation unused. The only way to view the animation is through a Daikatana model viewer.
