A super weapon is the equivalent of the BFG in Doom - an almighty powerful gun, with very rare pickups and rare ammo, but can cause massive destruction. Unlike the BFG, the super weapons in Daikatana are very dangerous to use and usually cause large amounts of self damage if not used correctly.
